Loving mom and wife, devoted friend and family member, cherished colleague and compassionate leader – brought light into the lives of all she touched.
Those of us who were lucky enough to be part of her life saw and felt the way she sought to lift everyone up. We saw it in all the many friendships she built – including the couple friendships she and Alex sustained for more than 15 years. We saw it in the colleagues she embraced as far more than work partners, but people she truly, deeply cared about – always listening, seeking to get to know them, making sure they were seen and heard by leaders.
Above all, we saw it in her deep love for her family – her husband, Alex, her two year old daughter Thea and newly born Calvin. She loved being a mom, first and foremost, and she and Alex had big dreams for their future. They were very excited to grow their family and build their dream home where they could raise Thea and Calvin.
We are devastated by her sudden passing on Saturday, November 23 – a tragic result of complications from childbirth.
Caite brought so much light into the world through her passion for people, and the care and compassion she brought to every relationship. We know that light will glow on among everyone whose life became better because of her – and among all of us she inspired to be better, kinder people through her love. Your kind wishes and support are very much appreciated at this difficult time.
