Shirley was born in Honolulu, Hawaii to Johnny and Eusebia

Bonoan. She was born into a large Filipino Family with 13 siblings during World War II.

She had a slender and Petite stature and her nickname in school was Olive Oil.

She went onto Graduate from Farrington High School in 1961.

She married Robert Marcello Sr. in 1963 and had 3 sons, Robert "Bobby" Marcello Jr, Jeffery Louis

Marcello and John Conrad Marcello.

She worked various jobs at Jumbo's, Burger king, Zippy’s and Meg’s Drive Inn and as a Hotel Maid?

Eventually Divorcing and making her way to the California. She Met Tom Satterlee through her Godson

Frank also from Hawaii. They both worked at FEDCO in National City, California.

What began as a friendship eventually became more, Tom helped Shirley deal with grief of losing her

Mother in 1991, Shirley helped Tom Dealing with a separation from young Daughter Sarah from his first

marriage.

Eventually they Married in July of 1994, They went to Hawaii and saw all 3 sons get married.

Visiting with Her Dad, Brothers/Sisters and Sons and Grand kids, and her Goddaughter Pat.

She also got to visit with her brother Pete in Torrance, California.

Grand kids grow up fast, and she was able to see Carlee and Taylor with Dance Groups in Anaheim and

Las Vegas.

So, time goes by and age becomes a factor for all, Tom's Mom Linda became ill and eventually passed.

Then Shirley's balance issues starting in 2024 and getting worse. She went into Hospice July 2024 and

then a Board & Care in Dec. of 2024. Mid year 2025 couldn't stand or walk, then difficulty swallowing

and finally needing oxygen but only for a couple of days, before passing peacefully on July,15 2025.

Tom is Thankful to God for bringing Shirley and him together. Through her prayers bring God back into

his Life. Thankful that she stood by him through trails of life, Making it easy for him to stand by her

through out their Marriage even to her final days. Making and keeping the vows of marriage,

Till death do us part, but adding and beyond. Tom says, just because she's past in body, we get to keep

loving her in spirit now and forever, A-men!!
